On January 30, 2026, Elsevier officially released the 2025 "Highly Cited Chinese Researchers" list. Based on the globally authoritative citation and indexing database Scopus as the statistical source of Chinese scholars' scientific research achievements, the list is compiled using the methodology developed by the ShanghaiRanking Consultancy. As of 2026, this marks the twelfth consecutive release of the list through their cooperation, which has attracted high attention from numerous domestic and foreign media and scholars. Elsevier provided data support and technical implementation for the list.
A total of 16 scholars from our university were selected for the 2025 list, among whom two scholars, Zhou Keliang and Lei Deming from the School of Automation, have won this prestigious title for the third consecutive year.
