Research Fields

In　recent　years，　the　school　has　won　23　provincial　and　ministerial－level　scientific　and　technological　achievement　awards　and　presided　over　113　national，　provincial，　and　ministerial－level　projects．　It　has　undertaken　a　large　number　of　national　key　research　and　development　programs，　major　national　science　and　technology　projects，　international　science　and　technology　cooperation　projects，　National　Natural　Science　Foundation　projects，　major　projects　of　the　Ministry　of　Industry　and　Information　Technology，　key　scientific　research　projects　at　the　provincial　and　ministerial　levels，　and　enterprise　cooperation　projects．　For　example，　the　first　domestically　produced　large　cruise　ship　in　China，　＂Aida　魔都号＂，　the　first　500kw　hydrogen　fuel　cell－powered　ship　in　China，　＂Three　Gorges　Hydrogen　Boat　No．1＂，　and　the　wind　farm　at　the　highest　altitude　in　China，　etc．

Currently，　the　school　has　six　major　research　directions：　new　energy　technology，　autonomous　driving　and　intelligent　connected　technology，　intelligent　robots，　intelligent　detection　technology　and　automation　equipment，　new　power　systems，　and　power　electronics　technology　and　equipment．
